The client
Mike Keelin is a freelance colourist in London, grading commercials, branded content, documentaries, TV and film for brands including Dolce & Gabbana, BMW, The North Face and Ralph Lauren.
What I did
I built a custom WordPress theme that is almost all portfolio, so the grades can speak for themselves.
- Portfolio grid. Every project shown with its brand and title, with more loading as you scroll.
- Video in a lightbox. Projects open in a Fancybox lightbox so visitors can watch without leaving the grid.
- A nod to the grading suite. Red, green and blue blocks frame the stark black-and-white layout.
- Easy to update. New projects are added in WordPress, with no developer needed.
Result
A clean, fast portfolio that puts Mike’s work in front of agencies and production companies.
Chris built me a portfolio that puts the work front and centre. It is clean, fast and simple for me to add new projects to, which is exactly what I needed.
